Rojak 101, Esplanade
- After having a quite “full” dinner at Woodlands Vegetarian Restaurant, and it was quite early. So we just drop by esplanade to have some “dessert”. Ah bell suggest to go for rojak 101 esplanade. We all found out that the taste was so so only. As usual, last time is more better. I think some of the Penang hawker should doing a QA test every year. Or perhaps government should form a team to QA test those so called famous hawker. We might down grade or up grade their level depends on the food quality or taste, at least this way of QA test will bring out the most efficiency of “competitive advantage” and tasty food.

- After having the so called famous Fried Oyster at town. I also ordered the Wan Ton Mee. Luckily the wan ton mee not disappointed me … at least.

- My uncle keep told us that this stall of cha koay teow is nice. This stall of cha koay teow is a bit “cold door”. The stall is just located at Ground floor of block A, Padang Tembak. After having it, I just feel that is just ok for me. Nothing special…..

- 100 Yen Shop is open on 18 Nov 2008. I got tried the coffee snow ice(not bad), but that day I not bring my camera with me. So 19 Nov 2008 I visit this shop again. My friend ordered the Lychee Snow Ice. He said that not bad, but he also claim that raja uda one, portion is much bigger. I try the Mango Snow Ice, overall quite tasty. The snow ice really look like “snow”. Something that you can’t find at some where else. The boss and boss wife is quite friendly as well.
- The other day my ex director also bought us the Strawberry Snow Ice. The strawberry flavoured, I feel so so only. May be we consider this as our 2008 bonus, we almost eat until cried out.

- Kimberley Street got a lot of nice food. One of my favorites is the koay teow theng with chicken drumstick. Total is around RM 7.50. It is a bit expensive, but I think worth of it. As long as it is a nice food. You can mixed the chicken “law” with the soup, it will become something special. You can asked them mixed the “law” for you also when u make the ordered.

- Today MC, flu and fever….. Plan to eat something at outside and when reach home can directly took some medicine. Just drop by my friend coffee shop near macalister lane. This Chee Cheong Fun stall is quite famous, even TV8 hok chiak also introduce this stall before. As I know the son in law also got one stall chee cheong fun at suncity food court, tanjung tokong. Seem like today cannot taste the food that much, just feel that the chee cheong fun is a bit salty.

- After attended the wedding dinner at SP, feel like not so full and quite hungry. Just call my friend and bring him go to town and cari makan.
He suggested to go Green House Coffee Shop. Quite long time not having this stall of hokkien mee also. So just “On”. This is one of my favorite hokkien mee in town. Suppose want to add in some roasted pork, due to too many ordered I think….they forgot add in for me

- Quite long time didn’t visit this shop, since I working at BJ area now. Today almost whole day at town and doing some of my personal thing. I meet my friend there and we having lunch together. My friend took some of the vegetarian satay, the economic rice cost him around RM 9. Quite expensive vegetarian lunch for him.
I just having a simple and cheap vegetarian lunch. The vegetarian roll is my favorite, only leave one when I ordered my lunch ….luckily I got it. The fried tau fu is my favorite too.

- I reach there around 12 ++, seem like the shop just open. The manager told us need to wait around 10 mins. The manager look friendly, at Penang Island I never see any of the old town branch manager smile with me before. The coffee really “gao” and taste good. We order one Ipoh Chic Hor Fun and Ice Fire Polo Bun. My old tham chiak(parents) told me that, the hor fun,vegi,meat and soup…all is not so fresh. Should be the food still leave extra and keep over the night. They also said that the taste was ok. The Ice Fire Polo Bun just ok only. Just a simple bun with butter. Anyway, the service quite good, especially the manager(male).

- My favorite burger during nine emperor gods festivals. This stall located at macalister road. Just opposite the church. I know this stall since my college times. Around 8 to 9 years back. Feel like last time is more tasty, now still ok only. Anyway, the vegi meat just like a real one
