Louis Cafe

Louis Cafe @ Argyll Road, Penang. 31 July 2009
My colleagues celebrate my manager and my birthday at Louis Cafe. Before visit to Louis Cafe, I thought that this is a very small size restaurant. Quite surprise that they got a big room at up stair, which can fit around 20 persons and you can having your karaoke session there. During lunch time, they got a set lunch which cost RM 23.90 nett.
The set lunch included soup of the day, one main course: special chicken chop, old classic fish fillet, grilled hawaiian chicken , black pepper fish and holland chicken , beverage: ice lemon/peach tea and free ice-cream.

Ferringhi Garden Restaurant

Ferringhi Garden Restaurant @ Batu Ferringhi, Penang. 19 July 2009

As I can see, Ferringhi Garden Restaurant diners, most of them are tourists. So the foods price will be a bit expensive due to the market targets. The environment was great, more closer to natural style. When you walk in to the restaurant, you will feel that you are walking toward to a “gardens”. Two thumbs up for the interior concept.

Today having farewell with my colleague AP Tan. We decide to go Macedoine Dining for our farewell lunch. I ordered the sea food set, overall the taste not bad. But not really like the potato taste. The drinks come with the set lunch, is a bit weird. They served with chinese herbal tea, we all feel like not match with the set lunch at all. May be can serve with coffee or tea, it should be better.
Total bill is RM 77. Each person is around RM 15.4. Quite cheap……….

Last minutes plan to having dinner at this restaurant. Very very late birthday treat by my friend.
Since we didn’t do any research and without planning, seem like we have ordered some so so tasty food on that day. The pizza is so so only, only the spicy chicken is OK a bit. The most tasty is the Chicken Pot Pie. Total bill is around RM 60++ I think….. the price is quite fair and cheap.
